Trade show quiz pricing, explained plainly
Trade show quiz pricing on QDevine has one unit: the event. You buy an Event Pass, make an event live, and that event is covered for 30 days with everything unlocked. This page spells out what that includes, what the Free plan leaves out, how GST and USD work, and how it compares with a per-host subscription.

What one pass covers
An Event Pass is a credit. It sits in your workspace until you make an event live; at that moment the credit is spent and stamped on that event, which is then covered for 30 days. Covered means: unlimited players, your logo, colours and tag line on the board and on the phone, the consent ledger, CSV export, Google Sheet and webhook sync, WhatsApp follow-up, team mode and roster, Stage mode, the lucky draw, and the AI builder at a higher daily quota. A three-day show, a two-week roadshow and a thirty-day on-pack promotion each cost one pass.
If you delete an event that nobody has played inside its 30 days, the credit goes back to your balance. Credits are valid for 12 months from the day they were bought or given, and you get an email 30 days before any lapse.
Trade show quiz pricing by quantity
| Passes in one order | Per pass, India (ex-GST) | Per pass, export (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 2 | ₹9,999 | $149 |
| 3 to 9 | ₹7,999 | $119 |
| 10 or more | ₹5,999 | $89 |
| Agency, 12 months | ₹99,999 | $1,999 |
The tier is decided by the quantity in a single order, so three passes bought together cost ₹7,999 each while three bought one at a time cost ₹9,999 each. Most exhibitors know their show calendar for the year; buying it in one order is the cheapest way through, and the 12-month validity means a pass bought for a show that gets postponed is not lost.
Agency is for people who run events for clients: unlimited events for 365 days, a white-label player with your name rather than ours, client workspaces through team invites, and priority WhatsApp support. It is paid once. We email a reminder at 30 and 7 days before it ends, and if you do not renew, the workspace simply drops to Free.
GST, invoices and paying by UPI
List prices exclude GST. Indian buyers pay list plus 18 percent: CGST 9 and SGST 9 within Maharashtra, IGST 18 elsewhere. Checkout asks for a billing profile with your GSTIN, validated for format and state, and every payment produces a numbered tax invoice as a PDF, emailed to your billing address and listed under Plan and billing. Pay by UPI or card through Razorpay. Export buyers outside India pay the USD list price with no GST; the export invoice states the rupee value at the reference rate.
Referrals and coupons apply before GST. A referred workspace's first paid purchase earns one pass for both sides.
What Free leaves out
The Free plan is the whole product with three limits: up to 30 players per event, a small platform badge on the board and the phone, and no export. Leads are visible in the dashboard, but the CSV, the consent ledger download, the Google Sheet and the webhook need a pass. The AI builder is limited to three runs a day on Free. That is deliberate: Free is for building the quiz and rehearsing it with your team the week before, and a pass is for the show.
Compared with a per-host subscription
Most quiz tools sell a seat: one host, billed monthly or yearly, in dollars, with the card charged again whether or not you ran anything. For a classroom or a weekly team meeting that fits. For an exhibitor it does not. Exhibitors in India commonly do two or three shows a year, at Pragati Maidan in the spring, BEC Mumbai or HITEX in the autumn, and a regional expo in between. A twelve-month seat is paid for on twelve months and used on six to nine days.
Per-event pricing follows the calendar you already have. Three shows in a year is three passes at ₹7,999 each, bought once, with nothing recurring and no auto-debit to cancel. If a fourth show appears, buy a fourth pass. If a show is cancelled, the credit waits for the next one. Finance gets one GST invoice per order rather than a foreign-currency card statement every month.
Two more things you can buy, and one you cannot
- Done-for-you setup, ₹14,999. We load your questions, apply your branding and test the event with you before the show.
- Organiser package, from ₹2,50,000. For a show organiser: a pass for every stand, branded to the show, with sponsor upsell built in. Quoted, not bought in-app.
- Extra seats or player packs: there are none. Team members in a workspace are not charged for, and a covered event has no player cap.
Questions buyers ask before paying
When does the 30-day clock start?
When you press "make live", not when you buy. Buy in March for a show in July; the pass waits as a credit and the 30 days start on go-live.
Do I need a pass to build and test the quiz?
No. Build, brand, rehearse with up to 30 colleagues and look at the board on the Free plan. Buy the pass when the show is near and make the event live on the morning of day one.
Can I get an invoice in my company's name with GSTIN?
Yes. Add your billing profile with the company name, address and GSTIN before checkout, and the PDF invoice carries them with the GST split. Invoices are also listed under Plan and billing.
What if the show runs longer than 30 days, or I run two events at once?
Each event is covered on its own for 30 days from its own go-live, so two shows in the same fortnight are two passes. A campaign longer than 30 days is two events back to back, or an Agency year if you run many.
